This is some information we think you will want to know.

Most of us are not financially-oriented people.  Oh, we know we're supposed to count our change, balance our checkbooks and watch our family budgets.

But we tend to tune out when the 'financial report' comes across the evening news.  We assume that people in high places are taking care of those things.  We're more than happy to leave it to them because most of it doesn't make much sense and we have enough to do just taking care of our own lives.

I do begin to care, however, when the paycheck no longer stretches around the shopping cart, when people all around me are losing their homes, when I wind up in the unemployment line and the prospects for any of these circumstances changing seem to be getting worse instead of better.

What is going on?  Most of us really do not feel like we can understand a lot about economic issues.  Nevertheless we all are affected by them, and maybe in a disastrous way.

We're passing along this website to you because it is one of the very few sources out there designed for the average non-financial specialist American citizen.  We can understand much of what is happening and need to. We are facing a national calamity and we need to be prepared for what is coming.
